The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a widely recognized English language proficiency test. Types of IELTS examination:

There are two main types of IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exams. The choice between the two types depends on the specific requirements of the institution, organization, or visa category you are applying to. The two types are:
1. IELTS Academic: The IELTS Academic test is designed for individuals who plan to study at the undergraduate or postgraduate level or seek professional registration in an English-speaking country.
2. IELTS General : The IELTS General test is primarily for individuals who plan to migrate to an English-speaking country for work experience, training programs, or secondary education.

Different Modules of IELTS:

The IELTS exam consists of four modules that assess different aspects of English language proficiency. Here are the four modules of the IELTS exam:
1. Listening: The Listening module assesses the test-takers' ability to understand spoken English. It includes four recorded sections with a variety of question types. Test-takers listen to conversations, monologues, and academic lectures and answer questions based on the information they hear.
2. Reading: The Reading module evaluates the test-takers' reading comprehension skills. It consists of three sections with different types of texts, such as articles, advertisements, and passages from books or magazines. Test-takers read the texts and answer questions to demonstrate their understanding of the content and their ability to find specific information, identify main ideas, and comprehend detailed information.
3. Writing: The Writing module measures the test-takers' ability to express themselves in written English. It comprises two tasks. In Task 1, test-takers may be presented with a graph, table, chart, or diagram, and they are required to summarize or describe the information presented. In Task 2, test-takers write an essay expressing their opinion on a given topic or responding to a specific question.
4. Speaking: The Speaking module assesses the test-takers' oral communication skills. It is a face-to-face interview conducted by a certified IELTS examiner. The speaking test consists of three parts. In Part 1, the examiner asks general questions about familiar topics. In Part 2, test-takers are given a cue card with a topic and have to speak about it for two minutes. In Part 3, the examiner asks further questions related to the topic discussed in Part 2, encouraging a deeper discussion.
